If you take one of our Namibia group tours, you’ll travel through a country ofspectacular landscapes andunique floraand fauna. Namibia is one of the least densely populated countries in the world allowing nature to reign free. This guarantees beautiful pictures and a vast exotic fauna. A group tour through Namibia is utterly fascinating and very diverse.
If you decide to join us for a group tour of Namibia, you’ll soon discover the German influences in the country. In the middle of the 19th century, the first missionaries arrived and in 1884 the country eventually became a German colony.
Discover the beauty of the country with its seemingly endless landscapes, each more beautiful than the other during one of our group tours. One of Namibia’s highlights is the Fish River Canyon in the South of the country. The Canyon will probably appear to you like an abandoned moonscape because it is made of sandstone and black limestone. Take a stroll along this spectacular river gorge and enjoy the sensational view over the Fish River.
The itinerary of a group tour in Namibia would be incomplete without a visit to the Namib-Naukluft Park. With its 50.000 square kilometres it is one of the biggest parks in the world and consists largely of enormous sand-dunes, some as high as 300 meters! The Sossusvlei, is ahuge salt and clay pan that nestles among the orange-red dunes like an oasis. You’ll be astonished to find little bushes growing in the middle of all that sand and animals like ostriches and chamois surviving here.
Your group tour will visit the friendly Swakopmund where reminders of the colonial era are still visible. This city is sandwiched between the desert and the ocean and has little alleys lined by palm trees. Once in a while, the dolphins living off the coast will show themselves close to the beach. An amazing experience! Swakopmund offers many possibilities if you feel like being active or going on an excursion. You can go quad biking and sand-boardingherefor example. There will be no time for boredom on a group tour through Namibia!
