Weather and climate Myanmar

Most of Myanmar has a tropical climate which is determined by the southwest monsoon. The months of February to April, especially in the lowlands, are hot and dry. During this period, temperatures can rise well above 35 ° C. This is a dry heat, more bearable than the humid heat found in many other tropical countries. These hot and dry months are followed by monsoon rains invading the country from the southwest. Especially during the months of July and August in the south of Myanmar, is it particularly wet.
