En route we visit a small hamlet with a church and a beautiful beach with a few restaurants where you can have lunch (optional). Take the snorkelling gear with you; rent near the pousada (hotel).
Dubbed by many Brazilians as the country's finest beach! The approximately 3 km long Lopes Mendes is on the ocean side of the island. White sand, tropical vegetation and no buildings! There are no roads to this tropical oasis, it is only reachable by boat, followed by a walk through the jungle (approx. 45 minutes). This trip takes about 6 hours.

The statue recently joined the select group of the ''7 wonders of the world'' and is both literally and figuratively the highlight of Rio de Janeiro.

Take a look at the hills where the less fortunate people of the city of Rio de Janeiro live. They provide the very best views of Rio! The slums are avoided by the rich inhabitants of the city, they are afraid and want to know nothing about them. The residents of poor neighbourhoods are very pleased that you visit. Accompanied by a local English speaking guide you enter the hills (by minibus) and you will stop at some places to observe the lives of the inhabitants there. It is a very good tour to partake in, you will feel respect for the locals and when joining this trip, part of the proceeds will be used for projects in local schools.
Price for a minimum of 2 participants.
