After breakfast you'll be picked up at the hotel for a sightseeing tour of the Cambodian capital. Your tour starts with a visit to the Royal Palace, built in 1866 under King Norodom. The Silver Pagoda on the complex terrain, is named after the floor and is covered with approximately 5000 silver tiles..
The next stop is the National Museum, where a large number of artifacts from the Angkor period are displayed. The lunch takes place in the "Friends Restaurant". Disadvantaged street children get the chance to gain experience, and thus a chance for a better future. The revenues go directly to activities of their training.
The afternoon is devoted to the macabre history of Cambodia, at the time of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. You visit Choeng Ek, the site of the notorious 'Killing Fields'. The Tuol Sleng prison is on the program. Then you are taken back to your hotel.
