You will be picked up early at the hotel and drive fifteen minutes to Bindbyasini Temple in Phewa Lake, the start of a beautiful walk through farms and rice paddies. From here you walk in about 2 hours to Sarangkot (1592 m). It is a beautiful view point that offers a good part of the Annapurna Range. You can (on a clear day) enjoy a beautiful panorama with an unforgettable sunrise over Annapurna II among others, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) and Dhaulagiri. Then you descend for about 30 minutes down to a point where your transport awaits, which brings you back to your hotel (about a 45 minute drive).
Excursion schedule (subject to change and in consultation with the tour leader):
Exact time depends on the weather. The best is probably to leave very early in the morning, so that you're in Sarangkot at sunrise. If you do not want to make the trek, but want to go to Sarangkot, you can be dropped off at a (lower) viewpoint at Sarangkot.
Included: transportation, guide during the trek
Not included: entrance fees, camera fees, tips
