On this tour you’ll visit Bhaktapur, the smallest of the three royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. The medieval city is filled with brick houses and the absence of heavy traffic is noticeable. Stroll through winding streets and alleys to temples and plazas. The inhabitants of Bhaktapur are known for their exquisite carvings, Nepalese dolls and pots.
The old Newari town of Panauti, with its many temples, is also on the program. The Indreshwar Mahadev Temple is perhaps the most impressive. There is a religious atmosphere in the town.
