During your trip, it is possible to participate in 'single' excursions offered locally by the tour leader. These excursions are optional. To allow you to plan a budget for your trip we have provided you with an idea of the cost of these excursions. The price can change due to currency fluctuations. The amounts are therefore only meant to give you an indication of the cost. Entrance fees will often change and therefore are excluded from the prices displayed (unless explicitly stated). We display the prices in Euros/GB Pounds/US Dollars. When you are in your destination, it is possible to pay for the excursions in local currency.

Bulawayo - Rhino safari (by foot)

From Bulawayo you can take an optional safari, where you can go in search of rhino. If the rhino are in a good mood, you can get up to a few meters away and quietly watch. An experience never to forget!

Cape Town - Cable car to Table Mountain

Cape Town is famous for its location at the foot of Table Mountain. You have the opportunity to stand on top of it: a short cable car ride takes you to the top from where you have a stunning view of the bay and the city.

Note: please be aware that sometimes due to weather conditions it is not possible to visit Table Mountain. In addition, it often happens that the cable car is out.

Price is for a return ticket by cable car, per person.

Cape Town - Daytrip to Cape of Good Hope

This trip follows the coastal route to Hout Bay, we drive through the picturesque fishing village and onto Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open). At Cape Point we drive through the nature reserve, where you can walk up the steep pathway or ride in the Flying Dutchman funicular (own expense) to the lighthouse. On the way you will visit Boulders Beach where you can see some African and Jackass penguins. A visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is also on the program.

Cape Town - Trip to Robben Island

This trip to Robben Island, the place of Nelson Mandelas incarceration includes transportation (boat), entrance fee, museum visit and local guide.

Kasane - Boat tour Chobe National Park

In the afternoon you can take a boat trip. On the river you have every opportunity to see a variety of wild animals drinking. Herds of elephant, impala, waterbuck, as well as hippos, crocodiles, otters and buffalo make this trip a wonderful memory. You can also see the swooping ospreys.

Orange River - Canoeing

The Orange River is situated in a beautiful green landscape with mountains in the background. In the early morning you can make a nice canoe trip on the Orange River, where you can swim and can tackle the (small) rapids.

This is a 4 hour canoe trip excluding meals.

Pretoria - Soweto tour

This is a tour through the township of Soweto, inclusief of entrance fees. The price depends on the number of participants but is based on 10 participants.

Victoria Falls - Flight of the Angels

You can take 'The Flight of the Angels' which lasts 13 minutes. The name refers to the helicopter flights above and around the falls and comes from the writings of David Livingstone, believed to have "discovered" the falls: "Scenes so lovely they must have been gazed upon by Angels in their flight".

Victoria Falls - Microlight flight

With a small airplane or a microlight airplane you fly over and alongside the waterfalls! This flight over the falls is called the 'Flight of the Angels' and comes from the writings of David Livingstone, believed to have "discovered" the falls: "Scenes so lovely they must have been gazed upon by Angels in their flight".

Price is based on a flight of 12-15 mins. Longer flights are also available.

Victoria Falls - Rafting

Go by dinghy down a portion of the Zambezi for "white water rafting". After an hour of practicing you can already go with a group and an experienced guide to the wild river where you have spectacular 'rapids' and where you do your best to do not fall by the wayside. Spectacular pictures for those at home!
Duration: half day, depending on water level you leave early or very early.
Including: safety equipment, instructions.
