Population Belize

The total population is around 333,000 and approximately 200,000 of them consist of Creole, Garifuna, Mestizo, Spanish, Maya, English, Mennonite, Lebanese, Chinese and East Indian heritage. Due to racial harmony, religious tolerance and a relatively passive political culture, all of these different elements have been thrown together and blended successfully, resulting in a widespread reputation for its friendly peoples.
