Cambodia has a tropical monsoon climate with two rainy periods. In the summer, from June to October the southwest monsoon prevails and the humidity is high. Especially in the afternoon there may be heavy rains. The wettest months in Cambodia are August and September. The winter monsoon brings only an occasional shower.
Cambodia does not have four seasons as we know it in Europe. The climate of these countries is mainly determined by dry and wet periods. In general, you should take into account that the rain may fall throughout the year. However, it is warm all year and often very sunny. The best time to go on this journey is between late October and March, during these months it rains least and the temperature not too hot.
